The uploaded compilation contains one BPSC exam reference line for each mapped entry. There are 590 such references. The source itself is organised into three large blocks, which makes domain-level comparison clean and reproducible.

The biggest structural change is Environment’s rise
Using only ordinal core references, the domain composition changes meaningfully across the three eras. This is a source-bank signal, not an official paper-wise percentage.

A clean 4-option → 5-option → 4-option shift appears

Across 243 ordinal core references in this era, the extracted question blocks do not use an (e) option.
All 123 extracted ordinal references from 60th–68th contain an (e) option—typically “none / more than one”. This materially changes elimination strategy.
All 70 extracted ordinal core references from 69th–71st return to four-option architecture in this compilation.

Do not train elimination only on old four-option PYQs. The 60th–68th phase rewards “multiple-correct awareness”.

How to turn the trend into marks
The most common mistake is reading this data and then still studying every chapter equally. The purpose of trend analysis is to change the order, depth and revision frequency.
Build the high-density spine
Rivers & projects → Environment → Agriculture → World Economic → World Relief → Oceanography → Minerals/Energy. This becomes your first recall loop.
Convert facts into chains
River = source → tributary → state → city → dam → mouth. Crop = season → climate → soil → producer state → current ranking. Strait = connects → separates → nearby states → strategic relevance.
Train both option architectures
Use 4-option speed practice for older and recent 69th–71st patterns, plus 5-option “more than one / none” drills for the 60th–68th architecture and allied papers.
Pragyesh priority order
When time is limited, revise in the order suggested by both density and repeatability.
Top = revise first and more frequently. Lower tiers remain part of the syllabus; the visual only shows revision priority.
